Our Programmes
Ground Up Collective delivers three integrated programmes:
1. School-based integrated psychosocial support
Integrated psychosocial support for learners (male and female) experiencing adversity, trauma, and social vulnerability. The programme creates safe, structured spaces for learners to process trauma, develop emotional regulation skills, and strengthen self-awareness, confidence, and agency. A tiered referral pathway supports those requiring more intensive care, including counselling, and social work interventions including: risk assessments, home visits, and family-level interventions.
- A group-based, trauma-informed resilience programme.
- Individual counselling sessions.
- Social work interventions.
2. Capacity Building & Training
Capacity building and training for practitioners and community development workers within schools, communities, civil society organisations, and statutory services. Training offerings include:
- Trauma-informed, conscious. facilitation training.
- Psychological first aid and emotional regulation training.
- Support for organisations integrating trauma-informed and gender-transformative approaches into their work.
3. Healing, Empowerment and Transformation Interventions
- Empowerment programmes for women and girls aimed at support to survivors of gender based violence, and prevention.
- Redefining masculinity for boys and men: addressing the harmful gender and social norms that perpetuate gender-based violence and toxic masculinities.
- Trauma debriefing and wellness sessions.
